The Club fishing boat the Rise ‘n Shine is available to Members and Temporary members alike. Enjoy a full day out trolling or cubing off Jervis Bay Canyons here some of the best game fishing grounds are on offer. Experience the thrill of fishing for marlin. Yellow fin tuna or dolphin fish.The opportunity exists for members to experience customised sightseeing tours whether it be around St Georges basin, Sussex Inlet or even Jervis Bay Marine Park. Where it is possible to see Dolphins, Seals and whales.

Please note prices are for boat hire regardless of total number of people.
Boat will be hired by one person and he or she will liaise with the Skipper in regards to boat activity

INFORMATION REGARDING TRIPS ON THE RISE ‘N’ SHINE
BOOKINGS
BOOKINGS
- Bookings may be made by phone with payment by credit card or in person at reception between 10am to 6.30pm. Full payment must be made when booking.
- First bookings will take priority.
- If the trip is cancelled you will be notified by 7pm the night before (where possible) providing a contact number is left with reception. If the trip is cancelled you will be given refund. Please retain your receipt from your initial booking as proof of payment.
- If the vessel crosses the bar and subsequently returns early due to adverse conditions a refund is available. However, the crew may choose to fish the Basin or Inlet.
- All crew must sign a disclaimer when booking or prior to boarding.
- Cancellations by you must be made 3 clear days prior to the sailing date, a refund will be given. If less than 3 days, no refund will be given.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Anybody over 18 going out on the boat must be a Full or Temporary member of Sussex Inlet RSL Club.
- All crew must wear lifejackets when crossing the bar.
- Crew must provide all bait and tackle.
- The skipper’s decision as to suitable fishing conditions and time of departure and return shall be final. The skipper is also in full charge of all matters relating to any activity on or about the boat.
- Personal belonging s such as watches, fishing gear etc. are the responsibility of the crew, Sussex Inlet RSL Club accepts no liability.
- All crew must hold a fishing licence (where applicable) when fishing. If no licence is held a 3 day licence may be purchased from the skipper at a cost of $6.00.
- Please inform the Reception at time of booking and Skipper prior to sailing if you have any serious medical conditions or disabilities.
- Maximum crew for outside will be 4 plus the skipper and 11 plus the skipper for Basin and Inlet fishing.
- It is at the sole discretion of the skipper as to adverse weather or sea conditions. If the vessel does not sail, your trip will be refunded. Alternatively you may decide to fish the Basin or Inlet at the appropriate fee.
- No shoes that tend to mark the boat should be worn.
- You may bring your own food and drink (non alcoholic) onboard; this is particularly recommended on full day trips.
- Children
a) Children 12 years and over may go deep sea fishing but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
b) Basin Fishing – children are allowed with a ratio of 2 children per adult – maximum of 12 people including skipper, skipper counts as one adult (break down as follows 8 children, 3 responsible adults and skipper).
c) Children must wear lifejackets at all times.
d) There will be no discount in respect to children.
- Alcohol
a) Alcohol is permitted on evening cruises only – must be arranged at time of booking and paid for prior to departure. No other alcohol is permitted on board as part of Sussex Inlet RSL Club’s Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy.
b) No intoxicated persons will be allowed on the boat.
All members are warned that participation in fishing and other recreational activities may involve the risk of personal injury. Before each trip each member shall sign an acknowledgement that they have been shown the location and use of the safety equipment on the vessel.
It is a condition that any person while fishing or engaging in any activity on board, boarding or disembarking the Rise ’n’ Shine agrees to do so at his/her own risk and shall sign a disclaimer to that effect prior to boarding.
